Yeah I have spare tape cut to size on the suppressor. Immediately replace once I've shot an animal. Should be air tight with a round in the rifle

the Duleys thought that too in episode year of two back...kept an empty round in chamber and muzzle taped in pouring rain conditions....laughed my arse off when they finally opened bolt and heap of water came out...the H2O gets in everywhere..... carry muzzle down helps no end and your not supposed to tape a .224 muzzle as it will effect accuracy lots more than the bigger calibres.
