    As above nothing will stop water it eventually gets in everything. Tape for me is used to stop mostly bush getting in barrel and keep out drops from wet bush or while walking. DPT's are fantastic for being able to strip down and dry out. @Micky Duck I tape my 223 and have never noticed a change in accuracy.
