    Tahr Ballot 2023

I was lucky enough to get the conformation e-mail this arvo, Whoop whoop late season mission to the Adams tops. Last time I was there was like -18, nothing like waking up and everything is frozen solid

Philipo's tip - go late, it weeds out the pussies hahahahaha

    How anyone else do ?

missed out tried for some early periods up the Adams area. hopefully there will be a block free somewhere from people pulling out early so i can still get some action. if that fails ill just have to check out some of my usual haunts up the east coast side.

First time in the ballot and got Abel Lake for the 3rd period.
New to the area so if anyone has any handy advice, I'm all ears

Yeap, it's a good block. Bloody steep up behind camp but still doable. Adverse creek on true right is worth a look to. Take good gear, bloody cold in there.

My advice, go prepared for the worst & have no expectations - just enjoy the week ( it will be awesome no matter ) & hopefully bag n retrieve a couple.

Last block we did, one of the grew did some intel - didn't sound great. We farken knocked it outta the park

Awesome spot, we had it 7th period this year. Steep as and just an awesome place. Tahr numbers were right down but plenty enough still kicking about.

Got lucky and drew Willberg 5th period next year, can’t wait. If anyone has any do’s and don't for the area then i’m keen for a yarn.
