Worked well. Doc people very helpful. They are also managing Haast Roar blocks just before this so are busy - be kind to them.
Two of us applied and we got one block.
Each person in the party can apply separately for blocks. You only need to finalise the names in the party in January when you get the landing permit. It would pay to check as they could change the rules.
Good numbers of bulls but very few nannies.
Kill returns and bird sightings were confusing with reporting back to DoC and the tahr foundation using different formats - unclear which it was. Apart from number of animal believed killed they will only get "garbage out".
