    Taihape way

Just spent a few Amy’s chasing Fallow with two mates on private land.
Only after some meat and managedone each, couple of nights talking shit and spare time shooting a few rabbits.
From clear blue to pissing rain and hail, younger of the team got some experience stalking, I just shot mine on the farm road coming out.Name: IMG_5007.jpeg

Nice spot mate, well done. Obviously the rifle held zero after we got it on at Simon’s.
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!

Nice place that. Driven that road a few times. Generally saw more reds than fallow though.

It was a bit unfair @Rushy, I could have used the stock to club it to death, I was so close. We had followed it in the night before, but cut down off the road, didn’t hear me coming out I dropped it at about 25 metres. The three were in good condition. Mate had the bot, so young guy got one for him. The weather was terrible, but on his third trip out that day had did really well stalked up a creek bed and nailed it at a

@whanahuia yep plenty of reds, we only saw about maybe 20 fallow, but most at a distant. The first the young guy got, put up two red spikers that wandered off, then stopped and watched us. Got some good photos on my real camera

I looked at your pic above and thought, is that the same Maca49 I met at Simons ....?? There, I would swear you looked younger with darker hair. But, maybe you had visited the makeup desk en route ...

Rushy pretty good with my make up.
I’ve have a prescription shampoo at present to sort my scalp and it bleached my hair.
Should have heard the comments from my kids! My wife reckons it’s the worse photo she’s ever seen of me! They don’t hold back
