    I am 99.9% sure the smaller round pellets are goat as I regularly see and shoot goats in the vicinity. Never seen a possum up there, but that's not to say they are not there.
    There is a small population of fallow on the opposite side of the valley, a few km away.
    I would put my trail cam up, but I know a few local dropkicks poach this spot so don't want to risk it

    I think that's a good call on the pellets on the right being goat.
    The stuff on the left could be either deer or possum. If it is possum though there would only be a few pellets, say 6-8, while a fallow will leave 30+. If the deer was walking while it took the dump then the pellets can be scattered along a line and not so obvious as a pile left when stationary.
