    Tangihua forest goat hunt

    hi everyone, booked a goat hunt with the jaffa NZDA, staying at the lodge, anybody got a nice 'possy' i can let rip in? or any other advice for that forest?

    i know about no shooting near the 'transmitter, lodge or the lower pikiwahine river valle'y......

    Most stinkies will be in the northwestern part of the forest, as its steeper (hehe) and catches the afternoon sun. So get over there ASAP. Might take an hour or two to get there from the lodge.

    Yeah, definitely the spot for them, about an hour walk, some good clearings up on the top, you can shoot across the valleys, range normally 500-800 yards. good few pigs in there too.

    I'd head SE of the transmitter, big pigs down there... plenty of wallows along the creek banks. Goats are everywhere but porks better eating
