Thread: Tanning Tahr Skins

Spent last week knocking them over so anyone know of someone reputable between Blenheim and Christchurch to tan a couple of skins.......and no, cant be bothered pissing around doing the myself

High country taxidermy in west Melton. Does good work and at a good price.

Wildmount just down the awatere valley. Dashwood I think. Had good work done for a chamois mount. But you could cut the middle man and send it frozen to animal tanning services down Invercargill. Pretty sure he uses them anyway for tanning.

He’s done a few bull Tahr for me now and always done a fantastic job. Just expect to wait a few months.
