keep an eye on Sika stags through to roughly sept 20th when they cast their antlers, and if you see something you like then send to the chiller.

Around May 10th red stags come out to put on condition after the roar and June 1st for Sika stags, this is a far better time to hunt them than the roar and once they are fat again make much better table fare.
