Hi all. Bored at work at the mo so looking at potential hunting blocks for deer. I was looking at Tauranga as a good spot. Just wondering if any of you fine fellas on this site would like to help out a new hunter knock over his first deer? Maybe show me some popular spots and give some advice when bush stalking? Happy to throw in a box of beers as a thank you. Cheers.
Think a lot of the Kaimai tracks are closed due to the Kauri die-back, not a good time of the year to hunt, deer movement is minimal, wait for spring growth if you have limited experience.
Theres a lot of smaller hunting blocks around the Kaimais which are also popular with deer hunting so was thinking of trying one of those.Quote:
