    Tawa Hut/Koranga forks

Hey guys, thinking of doing a spring/summer weekend trip into the tawa hut or koranga forks area, might even stretch out to the Kahunui dependant on timing ect.
Whats the carpark like for leaving vehicles overnight/multiple days, have heard some average reports about the general area but not that carpark specifically.

side note, has anyone been in recently?

    Cheers for any info

Carpark as safe as any really take usual precautions.
Used to love hunting the korunga plenty of animals especially on the slips around this time shouldn’t have trouble nailing a couple.
Sounds like plenty around tawa also and looks like fallow have made it right back into the native too.
Got a nice rusa stag there a few years back.

Went in there with kids few weeks ago to koranga, seen couple deer. River was up which made it hard crossing for kids. Be easier traveling when you go. Hit kahunui/moke and tataweka if u can nice hunting to each and easy going. Grass Be growing in there by now I'd say. Carpark is sweet as.
