    Gidday, I'm not too far from Te Anau, and have a few mates up that way. Heaps of hunting and keen hunters around Te Anau. Some good diving too...

    A trip to the Black Dog (or any pub probably!) on a Friday night should put you in touch with some hunters, but failing that, its probably worth joining the Gore branch of Deer Stalkers (which I must do...) as they have a lot of access to blocks over the roar.
