Thread: Te Kauri scenic reserve

not a bad walk for a little DOC area, saw 6 + goats but the little buggers were just across the boundary on the farmers privte land next door...... wouldnt have been more than 50mtrs. We saw a fair bit of sign throughout the doc area but no animals until we were heading out along the top 'seep track' and saw 2 - 3 just as we were NOT ready as we were on the way back to the truck, no bolt or ammo in... managed to get a shot away but no good as too rushed. Anyway good to get out and about in the bush.
