Thread: Thompson's Track/Tuahu Track

I guess that you missed the two "road closed" signs spaced 2 km apart before entering the track and the hand written sign at track start stating that track was not usable due to slips. There have been three deer (that I know of) taken from the area on and around the "one hundred acres" since track became "walk in only". The track will be reopened, the biggest hurdle is waiting for the guy from council to "pop the spud" so the 4 wheel drive clubs can start clearing road...a plan is in place...if all goes well, track will be opened by spring.
