Thread: tills road/water treatment plant access???

ive been getting my google on looking at access into the kaimais and was wondering has anyone ever used the paper road through the matamata water treatment plant? ive never been around the area and am looking at going later this month so just looking for access options.at the moment im leaning towards te tuhi road.

Te tuhi is good, as you hit the ck on the bushedge head up on the edge onto the easy rolling top, head south not too far from the dropoff.

cheers for the heads up mate. just out of interest roughly how long does it take to get to the top of track from carpark, im no marathon runner haha.

30 min to the bush and then 30 to the top for a non marathon runner
