That's a nice scope you've got there. I've got a 4-12 VX1, but it doesn't even come close to my 3-9 VX2. Awesome scope.
I went and picked up a $250 Nikko Stirling rangefinder, a bit of paper, a pen and some targets and went out on the farm to shoot at 100, 200, 300 and 400m. Now I've got a drop chart out to 400m (didn't bother going any further) for my 140g and 160g 7mm-08 loads. Print of a little table, cut it up, laminate it and whack it on your stock. Manufacturers charts for ammo can't really be trusted, plus if you roll your own you gotta get out and shoot it anyway.
Once you've done that those pesky goats are in real trouble.
