All else mate go downstream an hour and bush hunt on true left deer in the bush and good bush to hunt

If the sun comes out look for a place called “the burn” ,it’s close to the old airstrip above the ngaruroro .dress warm and sit on the shady side of the valley,glassing onto the sunny areas ,long range rig would be best for that area.

Follow the track that goes from Tussock over the hill to the Boyd hut. When you get to the river, don’t cross, turn left and follow downstream, you’ll see it on the left, maybe an hour. The creek/valley just before the burn is worth a look, and an easy circuit back to tussock.
