Funny, I’ve been looking at doing this with a couple of non hunter mates, who have teenage sons breaking their necks to go hunting.
They’re both reasonably capable-accomplished outdoor people, and love venison, so I offered to sort out a trip.
Grittted my teeth and contacted Helisika about a flight into Tussock with the plan to walk out over 3 or 4 days.
Tussock hut is basically booked solid from Nov until Christmas!
