    Unguided meat hunt.

    Morning all

I'm looking for an unguided meat hunt property and accommodation. Iv been living in Perth for the last 10 years since leaving Otago uni for the $$ but I'll be home in June for a visit and want to get out for a shoot. We have had previous access to a private farm block and hut around Raetihi but its fully booked out so I'm back to the drawing board.

Basically just looking for an overnight stay for my brother, old man n me and couple of meat/management animals. I have had a look at the outdoorHQ website but don't really want to join for 1 hunting opportunity and I'm sure there's farmers out there who would keen for a bit of cash to remove a couple of spikers.

I used to be a regular on the old fishnhunt forum and we are all experienced hunters, respectful, close gates and will tidy up. I expect to pay cash for the accommodation and per animal.

    Cheers Nick
PS. A few snaps from my time in WA to keep the post interesting.

I've had my eye on this guy for a while.

It may be too far though as it's in Whanganui

Always amazes me how much these places charge for goats, they obviously get the money but whatever floats your boat I guess

There’s a place down Taupo way, highway 41. Handy enough to Vagus.
Heaps of reds and reasonable pricing apparently .
I’ve never hunted this sort of property, but I know a couple of guys who’ve been in there and enjoyed it.

Someone on here must know it??

The block we normally hunt doesn't charge for goats so we normally take one or two if we have time and a deer already.

Any chance you would share the name of the outfit you've previously used? Always looking out for places to take the family. Can PM if you prefer. Cheers

Sorry mate it's a private farm that we organise through family friends so I don't even have the details. I was pretty surprised to hear it was booked for the entire time I'm back visiting but there could be something else going on.
