    unusual red coat

    Hi all.
    What have we here?
Have shot plenty of reds but havnt seen one with white spotting right down flanks (fawns and sika, yeah) .Its fawn was normal red colouring.
    Was decent size animal.
Shot on public land, kaimais, Tauranga side, not far in.
    Cheers. NRF

Potentially just a natural variation that occurs

Ie; Not all brown cows are the same brown

Have struck it before..... just a young hind, who hasn't quite got rid of her own spotty coat completely. And the fawn will be her first.
