Thread: Unusual red stag shot. Anyone else seen one of these?

I shot this nice red stag yesterday evening.
He had this unusual pigmentation under the legs, across the belly and down all the legs to the hooves.
Totally pure red stag with very trendy hylights.
One rear leg was a brown color rather than red and it was in its full summer coat ... no odd bits from the molt etc.
Nice young animal ... guessing 2 or 3 year old.
Long way from the vehicle and wouldn't you know it saw another stag on the slog out that was miles closer to the truck.
Never mind he was a few years older and might just be on the roar " to do list".

Anyone else ever seen one of these?











So that's my Christmas shopping done for another year ... exactly the same as last year.
