    Upcoming Tahr rut

Hi all, with the tahr rut and associated ballots starting soon here's a thread to discuss such endeavors.
To start it off, I'm off to teichelmans ck 1st period.
Never been in this block before also have no clue on area, camp site and tahr in the area.
It's also the first time a first period has been won with mostly 5th to 8th being lucky in past.
I have been made aware of the zip program in the area but with some knowledge from the oracles here we can try further afeild it terrain permits.
Im not a complete noob to tahr but this area of the Adams i am.
I can give some advice on some landsborough blocks, dechen baker hinds.

Id say make sure you book your ferry and give your self time to make the crossing.
Just heard of a guy that got clagged in west coast missed ferry. Vehicle sitting in Picton for four weeks before they have room for it to cross.

OK so no one has been to teichelmans creek. Or no one wants to lend advice

Who else on here is flying in first period from hydro at wanganui river. Could be good to catch up on the Friday night prior.

    Cheers

Bad luck if your booked trip gets the cut or some party members get chopped.
Is there a place to list your up coming trip if you need a replacement member? I'm sure there are many fellow hunters that would appreciate and pay there way for a fly-in trip that has slack mates.
It takes 20 barrels of water to make 1 barrel of beer...

What's worse than a week of rain in a ballot block?

Testing positive day before heading to tahr block.

I guess it's better than day after landing. Still dosnt make me feel better about it.

Last 2 years have been affected by covid. Why not 3.

Weather looks really good for the Adam's area too.

All the best for those heading in tomorrow. Love to be in the hills with ya all.

    Hot barrels

I'm gonna be cheeky here and throw my hand up if anyone has a spare spot. Haven't managed to get into a block for a couple years now and keen as to get after them again
    Shearer and dale like this.
    270 is a harmonic divisor number[1]
270 is the fourth number that is divisible by its average integer divisor[2]
270 is a practical number, by the second definition
The sum of the coprime counts for the first 29 integers is 270
270 is a sparsely totient number, the largest integer with 72 as its totient
Given 6 elements, there are 270 square permutations[3]
    10! has 270 divisors
270 is the smallest positive integer that has divisors ending by digits 1, 2, …, 9.
