    Upper Moeraki River

    Curious if anyone has any knowledge about the Upper Moeraki River block during the Haast Roar? I’ll be headed in there for the week of March 30th and plan to tent camp as well as utilize the hut for a few nights.

    I've shot the block in the past, if the river is up and uncrossable then you can't access most of the block from the hut, especially Pegmatite Creek
    Rod and Rifle did a write up many years ago.
