Thread: Waimate wallaby assistance

So I've just recently picked up a new 223 Ruger American Ranch and she needs her first blood, so i was thinking of heading up to try my hand at putting a wee dent in the wallaby population.

I have permits in hand for DOC blocks around Waimate, but as I'm new to the area I'm not sure which one to try first. I was thinking either Mt Studholme or Kelceys. Took a look at Giggle earth and Studholme looks like the better of the two, terrain-wise. Can anyone offer some advice on this please, or perhaps suggest a better alternative? I'm not looking to step on anyone's toes, steal their favourite spots or anything...just keen to get out and snot a few wallabies.
