Yes. Its still there. What do you want to know?
Just how it was hunting and wether the river flats are doing better than the tops?

Was up there pre Xmas. There wasn't heaps of sign on the river flats a bit in side creeks. Weather wasn't brilliant to be fair. Only one way to find out, go have a look
I Have Sexdaily. I mean Dyslexia! Fcuk!
There are always deer on the flats but the foot traffic is high at the moment. The deer follow the growth as it creeps higher in elevation. I would be hunting the gully heads and top margins. But you need to have a poke around to find out.
Yer I am thinking of going about 2 km up river and just work my way through the side streams up to the head of the streams

I would walk about 2 or 3 hours up then find a nice campsite and hunt from there.
In the past ive found a bit of a gradient with more sign but warier deer lower down. Secluded Light gaps, fallen trees and gullies open to the sun (uncommon) are the magnets.
Let us know ( in general terms) what you find. Dont need to tell specifc hot spots.
yeh my Yemeni mate was in there last week, tons of Trampers he said, but a lotwill be back to work, bite the bullet go have a looksee.
I've been there a lot lately, always sign. Very busy at the moment though. We managed to drop 2x red's and a sika a few days ago. Far deeper in though, wouldn't bother hunting the river unless you pushed way up.
