    Walk in chiller? Towable or portable?

    One limiting factor for me re recovering more dead game, is access to a walk-in chiller for aging and processing. Does anyone in the Wellington/Kapiti region have access to a walk-in chiller which I could use please?

    Second option would be to buy towable chiller?

    Third option would be buying a walk in unit I could put on my 8ft X 4'6" tandem trailer.

    What's out there please?

    back when I was a milkman...Anchor trucks had to be replaced every 5?10?? years cant remember which now.... still reasonably new in truck terms and chiller units didnt really work that hard..... picking one up that will also goes mains power would be ideal..plug it in when get it home.
    there are a LOT of small chiller trucks around and often sell at reasonable prices as speacialised use.

    @Micky Duck Yeah go idea.
    When I used to deliver cheese and yogurt around Wellington for Anchor, then Anchor Farm Products, I used to driver a chiller TK Bedford which I think had fallen off of the replacement schedule!
    At that time we also sold 5kg blocks of award winning Koromiko Cheese, long, long before the Koromiko Cheese factory burnt to the ground.

    How much are you processing? A large fridge will handle a quartered animal unless it's substantial... Damn sight cheaper to run and obtain too.
