Thread: Wallaby hunting?

Hey guys,

I just have a few questions regarding wallaby hunting, any help would be great!

have got some time off coming up and would really like to go wallaby shooting with my dad and mate. We know basically nothing of where to begin to find areas and places to hunt wallabys so if you know any stations or places that let hunters on that would be awesome.

I know (from DOC) that wallabys can be found in the hunters hills (but apparently in quite low numbers). also know of someone who used to see wallabys running round near aviemore.

my mate has never seen a wallaby in his life so it would be really awesome to be able to get him onto some! any information would be really helpful.

we would be using most likely one rifle (280) and no dogs. also have a 4wd.

oh and also we are based in dunedin
