Supposed to get notification by this Friday apparently
They are usually down to the wire each year. Last year all the successfully applicants I knew of on the tahr ballot heard last so hold on you still in the running.
I have just recieved an email now fellas.

i was number 27X application.... so theres a fair few entering. i was fairly latish to the party.. i forget how many total allocations each ballot.
its always been a common theme, though i think you locals can capitolize on the last chance draw on empty blocks on the 7th if yer lucky....
There's 52 blocks and 4 periods so 200ish opportunities. You weren't that late a mate was 980 if I remember right I was in the 600sQuote:

being from out of town, with 3 banwell books , i picked spots that may of been extremely useful back in 1930..... not so today but it was more about being in that spot, with the chance of hearing that noise... that creates the magic of the place.
I ended up getting block 38 (not one I applied for or the period but I'm stoked).

There is not a ton of information on some of these blocks - Is it bad form/edict to share information about them on this forum/online?
Personally I don't expect to hunt that block again and would tend towards wanting to share information so folks have some more info to work with in future.
