Metservice site seems to be down at the moment.
It does give fair forecasts though, out to about 3 days. I don't think its possible t predict beyond that, really. The simulation can be run but ...

Windytv is great ! I love the overlay of pressure on the wind. You can see it popping into existence in the highs and draining away down the sink into lows (clockwise flow). It's surprising how often I have some doubt what's the general wind direction once I reach the road end.
