Thread: Westland wasp warning

They are everywhere, they have decimated the Monach butterfly caterpillars to the extent that there are none at all about. Last year we had to try and find swan plants due to the number of caterpillars, now its a struggle to find any caterpillars.
I was stung a few weeks ago and I had to pull the bugger off as it just kept stinging, never had them sting like that before.

We doing ok with monarch butterfly this season,brought small plastic glass house and keep plants in there away from butterflies so plants can grow,still got one caterpillar inside there. Keep swapping plants around so they don't run out of feed.rotational grazing if you will lol.
