What’s The Smallest Trophy You’ve Ever Shot

I got this guy the other day at our place in the Sounds .
I was more thrilled and excited with this “ Stoat “ than the Deer I got
I’ve trapped a few over the years , but never shot one even though I’ve seen a few .
They never stop moving and are a very small target when they do because they are usually facing you .
The trusty Ruger and CCI Subs cleaned him up a 57 paces from an unsupported position which I was very happy about while out thinning the Possums around the Bach .

So as far as I’m concerned this is my “ Smallest Trophy I’ve Shot “ .

What is everyone else’s “ Smallest Trophy “

Headshot mouse at ~70m with 17hmr w/ thermal.

In fairness, was just aiming for a hit rather than specifically the head.

Yeah , I agree it has to have legs and no wings ….. and be shot with a Rifle or Bow … no Shotguns because that’s cheating

Some of you might know this camp in the Ahimanawas.
Shot a Rat climbing up a punga with the .270 at 10 meters. Sorry no photo - in fact no Rat either.

As a kid I used to shoot rats in the trees with an air rifle.
Only Stoat I've shot was with a 12g, oh and i dowsed one straight in the face with a blast of Tordon when the little bugger poked his head out of a gorse bush
