The 30-06 ticks all the boxes as far as being a good alrounder is concerned but I just wondered what was the most popular calibre out there? The 6.5 calibre has had a huge resurgence around this area .
The common projectile been the 6.5 amax with its high bc and sd with its spectacular stopping power.
Any chambering of the 3 6.5x55 .260 or 6.5 284.
The mighty tikka is chambered 6.5x55 and 260.
Minimal recoil and inherently accurate with ammo commonly available and affordable for the 6.5x55.
