    What a Cluster F##k !!

WelI planned a 4 day mission to the Motu...heres how it planned out.

DAY1:Shite drive down from roto vegas, nearly crashed the car..

Get to block , dump gear at hut.go for evening hunt. MMM this looks like a likely clearing... Bugger wind change, bugger there goes a hind and yearling in to the bush, didnt even get a chance to get the rifle to my shoulder...
Well lets plod on next minute whats that i see bugger me antlers, but thats all i see.Very cool and distinct antlers.
Well going for a nap am shattered after drive down. Źzzzzzzzz. Wakey wakey, f##k me that same stag is looking right at me 25 meters away!!
Shame my rifle is just out of reach, little prick is looking right at me im sure he is laughing as he trotts off and tells all his mates....Bro I was a sitting duçk and this hunter was asleep and couldnt reach his rifle....lol !!!

    DAY2:
Rained all day, hunted10 hours plenty of sign no deer spotted.

    DAY3:
Nice day, big day ahead final day to get me a deer...Got 10 hours ahead of me beating my feet.
Checked out a stream I spotted yesterday 1&1/2 hours from the hut.... scree bank cant go around it have to go over it.. I'll go slow just in case...Well F##k a duck 6-8point stag .
Shame all I can see is its head... do i pull the trigger take another step on the scree which will alert the stag of my presence or back track and get a better angle?

I decide to step back and go down to get a better angle....Well that was a mistake as i see its arse woddle off into the bush. Bugger... I shit u not, next second i see a stag in velvet looking directly at me, just like the hind the day before , i dont even get to shoudler the rifle before it drops down the bank out of view. ..

Its now 7:30am I could be back at the hut now having a beer after shooting a stag , but no im on Deano's magical mystery tour, where will it lead me too.

Ill tell you were, 6 hours later back towards the clearing from the first evening...By this stage light is fadding and im over it, but as they say just go one more corner...next minute im on a corner , peer around it what do i see....A hind looking directly at me... shame its a difficult head shot and a tree is blocking the body...

Well its now or never , shoulder rifle step to right (because of tree)hind starts to move off towards bush, i snap the shot ,feels rushed.See out of corner of my eye a yearling bolt off to the left and the hind run off to the right.Guttered am sure I have missed.

Dust settles look up bugger me the hinds on the ground, trying to get up. Do I do a follow up shot to put it out of its misery...wahoo deeron the deck.

Fun trip saw 8 deer some deer spotted twice.pulled trigger once. What a cluster, but still maanged to bag 1.

Hope u enjoyed the read, sorry no photos.

    Could've been worse.

Your sandwiches could've been burgled while you was snoozin'.

Sounds like quite a good trip to me, apart from the near car crash.

That was your chance to get rid of that bloody Ranger, you know it can't even drive up a grass track . . .

    Not entering this dust up.
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.

I was thinking seems like a totally ordinary hunt to me. Until the bit at the end.
