    What the crap?

So was out at the weekend looking for deer and or chamois. Saw a few of the latter but no shots fired. I did however come across some strange looking crap that I hadn't seen before and was hoping someone on here could tell me what left it? I'm not an expert on crap but fairly sure not from deer or chamois. See the photos below. And I'm pretty sure there were no yetis/abominable snowmen or any other mythical creatures in the hills. Like I said not seen it before and would like to know what it is. Also a photo of what looks like dug up ground. When I was out there had a thought could possibly be from a pig but 1, I've never seen a wild pig before and 2, don't think there are any in that area.

    Cheers

Don't laugh at the pig truffle clip you guys. In all seriousness that is a test that 'Big Red' should apply to age the next droppings he finds - al dente = fresh and pig is close. Al dente + warm = just ahead close the bolt

Arr but your test is flawed unless you are hunting pig,s that appear to be eating pasta , true test would be grass , fern roots , worms & lizards for the canty pigs & dead sheep for good measure ,I reckon the hardest crap to determine age is when they are feeding on rosehip berrys ..big red sloppy crap .
