Arr but your test is flawed unless you are hunting pig,s that appear to be eating pasta , true test would be grass , fern roots , worms & lizards for the canty pigs & dead sheep for good measure ,I reckon the hardest crap to determine age is when they are feeding on rosehip berrys ..big red sloppy crap .

Not pasta actually but eggs and bread. To be fair Boaraxa this would certainly produce a dropping indistinguishable from a meal of egg fetucini (spelling?). In my experience true skill and versatility in applying the el-dente test in a field situation comes from testing droppings produced from all type of diets.
