Thread: What the deal with the roar

Sorry for the dumb question but I know the roar can be a dangerous time of year. Was heading out camping this weekend on some doc land and wanted to take the gun and hopefully bag some meat. But I’m not sure if it’s a good idea. We have a permit for the area but have never gone out this time of year unless with older experienced huntersthat know all the ins and outs.
Do we need to apply for a seperate licence for the area for this time of year? I seen something about a ballot but that was down south. I don’t want to piss anyone off or get in trouble. We have just been wanting to go to this spot for a while now. Sorry to sound stupid but better to know than not.
