What do you take for food while hunting?
So a mate and I are heading out this weekend for a 4 day hunt ...
Usually I take things such as baked beans, 2 minute noodles, pasta snacks, musli bars, maybe abit of fresh meat for the first night (with the hope i get more fresh meat during the trip) coffee, milk powder, maybe musli for breaky etc and afew suppliment drinks
He seems to take real fresh stuff, he is talking about rump steak, pork steak, mash potatoes flakes, bacon, pasta, sausages, bread, coffee ....
Thoughts? what do you normally pack?

What to you add to hydrate ? Some water perhaps :P
Pasta and Rice used to be good, but they're now (according to the Mrs Paleo Diet) akin to eating your own children.
So now its dehydrated and vacpacked (by me) veg and stews, etc ... lotsa protein, lotsa veg.
OSM bars are the shit ... although the full one square meal is WAY too big ... I like the quarter OSM Bite Size Snacks ..
Nuts .... nuts ... nuts ... nuts .....
Porridge always was and always will be a must ... good slow release carb.
Berocca / Rehydrate tabs are good for your dehydrated water supply (just pop them in the mouth) as is a good old fashioned disprin (aspro clear) . Berocca can be drunk hot as well ..
the key for me was and always be simplicity , and dont deviate too far from your at home diet ....
