    What a waste

To the lazy prick that couldn't be bothered to carry the hind quarters and backsteaks that they took off of a stag in the Parahaki stream (te totara), and left them laying in the middle of the DOC track for the pigs to get stuck into....thanks you retard.
You shoot it. You carry it out

We did some asking around and as far as we can make out all recent hunters in the area are accounted for. I tAke your point though mate.

Fully agree mate. We put in a lot of hours to try and get a feed and for people to just leave it seriously pisses me off

You are right of course Gibo, and I probably should not jump to a conclusion, but...
The stag that the meat is very likely to have come from (99.9%) was left with head on, laying in the main stream. The hind quarters and back straps had been formed into a backpack and carried for probably 1km down the valley before being hung in a tree right on the track. Now it is possible that the hunter intended to collect the meat on the way back out but the string had broken and meat was on the deck. It was not fly blown. If this is what happened, then they could of at least dragged it off the track.
If they had been injured/lost then we would most likely know about it.

Its not a hard carry out of there so it seems strange that it was just left there.

Don't sound right, go to all that trouble then blow out and leave the good stuff? Must have had a drama to attend to.
