What weapon and projectile is everyone using for the roar?

No roar, too busy at work and jury duty end of March. :(

Would have been Sako 75 .270 Win with 150gn SSTs.

Xbolt .308 running 150gr SST and tikka hunter 243 running 100gr Fusions for the wife

Winchester Mod.70 in .270, Minox 1-5x24i. 130gr SST. Decided to try a lower power scope to make me keep the 'stalking' in deerstalking this year.

How do you find the reticle with the illumination (I replied to your thread asking about them a while back)

What powder and weight will give you 2900 in a 22'' barrell?

For me, Old sudden death, aka my Marlin 3030, 170gr fn slugs, as back up, Old lead poison, my Hawken, 60grs of the black with a 280gr lead smacker, if it`s not raining. If all this fails and I run into some terex bunnies , I grab the beast, Sharps 45-70, 44gr 3031, 420gr pp bullet. Well you have to be prepared. :D .Attachment 65340Attachment 65341

It will be doable Craig, I've seen 2800 fps from my 17" barrel with a couple of powders. I've dropped back down to 2740 now tho as its more accurate.

I'm running 52.5gr of H414, other powders gave same or more speed, but mine loves the 414 (tight groups)

Camera for me this year :)

Savage 7mm08 with 130gn PPU. Uni student so have to be cheap but it gets the job done easily!
