    What's this?

    Any thing to be concerned about?
    Took the meat anyhow.
    Have seen these things on cows and sheep but not on a moose.
    It's at base on neck, that's a bullet hole not an open wound.

    i would of stabbed it and seen, but likely just a localised infection from being stabbed by a branch or thorn and its healed up around it trapping the gunk inside.

    That was my guess. I've lanced those things on cattle but didn't want to pop it.

    Yeah seen a few big ones on cattle, knifed one once in the yards and it lterally exploded, must of been under some pressure. The smell and mess was gag worthy
