Thread: What's it worth??

So just finished reading the no 1080 for the Blue mountains and saw a comment on "deer being classed now as a game animal and not a pest".

Which got me wondering how much the hunting industry as a whole is worth too NZ.
Not just deer stalking but also duck, pig etc.
You need to take into account-
1. All money spent. On gear, tents, boots, rifles ammo, batteries and food beer
2. Transportation, petrol, tyres, etc
3. Accommodation
4. Volunteer work carried out for your sport. Ie anything that would improve the habitat that your animal lives in and you do free of charge. What it would cost to have this done. Just remember that this is also time that your not earning a living so it's like days off with out pay.

So how much do you each think you spend?
Add it up we may have a very legitimate argument to have our resource reclassify
