baked oaty slices x2, apple, some sort of heat and eat meal - back country, ration pack or noodles and some easy to chew lollies. (I try and snack every 45min to 1 hour) and a hot chocolate sachet to have with lunch.
Carbs are king when it comes to keeping the body fueled for movement.
When I'm running I try to eat 60-100g of carbs an hour. That's way too much food to carry in in a pack for a multi day hunt and you're not moving with the same intensity generally.
