    My experience is that there are very few herds of genuine wild cattle left, and that they are elusive and avoid human contact. Unless provoked they have never seemed to be particularly dangerous, and I have never had a desire to shoot one. I have encountered far more domestic cattle on public land than I have wild cattle. Probably a ratio of 50:1

    i no of a few wild cattle shot one once as they are cunning as hell. took me 8 hours to butcher it
