DOC must be claiming the rightful ownership of those cattle, so then with permission of the ''owner'' you can shoot as many as you want to no problems. Most likely the cattle were on a land acquisition - Its the exception rather than the rule and would only apply to certain areas

Can't say I have ever seen an obviously wild cattle.
But i have seen wild sheep.
In fact the cocky whos property i was gaining access to doc mismanaged land threw said there is some wild sheep hanging out in x spot, if you can get a few i wouldn't mind one. No bloody problem:thumbup:

:D Helped the farmer put these back in his paddock the other morning, Thankfully they didn't run out onto the main road !
