Thread: Where are all the deer

In spring the deer magnet spots are grassy slips first and flats later. I haven't hunted the "Haurangis" much but recall it as being mostly bush. It's easy terrain but needs good technique so best suited to old men.
So, looking in a different mountain range would be worth a try.
