Hi all, can anyone help me find a deer abattoir to get some fresh deer blood from, as i'm about to start training my
pup.

What exactly are you wanting to train? The principles of appropriate tracking are transferrable across any blood type

Hi distant stalker, Yep training for tracking, and have been told to use deer blood, from you abrupt answer haha, can any blood be used? sorry to sound abit thick but im new to this kind of training so any other help would be great.

Try a rendering plant. There is one in Hawera. they receive all the blood from the meat works and turn it into a powder...
Lowe corperation is the name of the place.
That or go knock on the door of the local deer farm.

Go shoot a deer and keep the blood

Try ovation fielding its a Deer slaughter plant. Can't remember name of the road but its near Manfield. Just ring em up and ask, worst they can do is say no. Good luck, Tony.

+1.if you head down Kawakawa rd ther right there by Claas harvest centre.

If you cant find anything in Manawatu etc, I can probably help you out in a week or so. cattle blood though.
