Where to score a good fly for cheap?

Looking to buy a fly for hunting trips in the coming months (uni break). Want something relatively light and that would keep me protected. Not going to be braving South Westland mid winter or anything, just some light shelter over summer in the north island. Any recommendations?
    Cheers

    Kiwi Disposals have these

Hootchie Web-Tex British DPM - Versatile shelter, sleeping bag cover or emergency carrying sheet. 9 reinforced loops around the edge, brass eyelets at corners & middle.
    [Product Details...] NZ$75.00.

These are pretty identical to the half shelter / hootchie that were in use when I was in the army. I still use one of these on the odd occassion. Just Google Kiwi Disposals and look in the Camping section

Yep theyre good as long as you have trees handy... Also want to have a poofter pad under you otherwise it gets pretty cold at night with the breeze flowing underneath. Great way to fly camp tho...

keep away from those rip stop nylon (expensive) bit of rubbish .Paid $300 for 1 , a reasonable blow in the Te Puke tops this amazing bit of gear ended up in several bits. Not even good for rags .
A piece of black polythene or maybe Rushy's Hootchie web -tex idea .
A cheap cover from M10 may be worth looking at ,they're light ,have eyelets & not gonna break the budget.

I suspect that Toby is referring to the Hennessy hammock. I have one of them that i use as well. They are great, easy to put up quickly but not inexpensive though and be sure that you get one that is appropriate to your weight. The other thing about these is that there is only the thin layer of the hammock material between you and the cold air outside so some times warmth can be an issue.

Do they not sell them with hoochie poles anymore?? I've always said no thanks to the pegs, can usually use sticks (unless in middle of zone five) just as well and easier to bug out when you don't have to collect the pegs

Hoocthie poles Dougie? That is a bit soft. Next you'll be wanting an ensuite.
