Who Hunts with a semi auto?

Yes 22lr for bunnys.

Yes. Ar on goats and rabbits.
Pistol calibre carbing on rabbits.
Ak on deer once, didnt see any though.
Mini 14 on cats.

Not so much lately because I haven't got out but until lead was outlawed on ducks my favourite shotgun was a Browning A5. Used to shoot ok on the clays with it too.
Favourite little 22 was a 10/22

Had 1 .22 semi, shot plenty with it as I used it nearly everyday for a number of years and had a lot of fun with it but could have done it with a bolt if that was all that was available. All mine are bolt now.

i cull goats on my mates farm and was wanting to buy something semi in 308 nato or 7.62x39 i would still like to do that, i have e cat so no current issue.

I'd have thought having yes/no for shotgun, rimfire, centre fire categories would tell a more accurate story and provide more useful information.

I use semi autos for hunting and pest control.

We use rimfire and centrefire for pests and culling.

I do for rabbits 10/22, but for me after all this shit I have decided to trade it on a bolt action 22lr or 17hmr.

BAR for big game, 10/22 pests Ruger .44 semi for pigs/ bush deer, shot gun for birds/ clays. All better on my buggered shoulder.
