    Who's still after a sika

Is it a stag or meat for the freezer. As it gets colder some easy deer can be had ,with a little help

I here you, I reckon the best hunting all year where I hunt is after the roar as everything is trying two pound on some condition before the big chill arrives. Hope two get the freezer replenished this weekend.

Yep I like to hunt in the winter too.

I rarely hunt during the roar, more interested in filling the freezer.

    Cheers

Haven't been into LOTKOW since the 80's

The hut was still standing last time I was there.

Gorge stream used to hold one or two.

Must go have a look see.

Would I get my car down the road ?

    Cheers
    Pete

Road is great, honda civic could do it but two stream crossings would stop you after heavy rain. Down gorge stream is still a hot possie and close to farmland/top quality feed.

If you bump into Petree on the road take him with you

Thanks 7mmsaum if the Honda can do it then a Ford might just make it.

I'll go have a look see over the next few weeks.

Would love to get dragged out for a sika my wagon is out of comission at the moment and the car I am borrowing (daihatsu charade) all back roads are out of bounds especially if hunting is involved by order of the owner (my mother). I have no interest in hunting for trophy animals all I am interested in is meat animals.
