Thread: WHY WE DO IT

Away from media , cell phones , man-made eyesores .
Pushing the body and relaxing the mind . Away from people who have all the wrong priorities ( in my opinion ) and meet others out bush who also enjoy being ' out there doing it - and generally they are a better breed of people .
The serenity and the rush of the hunt .
And since we had kids, most importantly time alone with the family doing something we all love together , and being closer as a family because of it .
Seeing the thrill on the faces of the kids and teaching them skills they can't learn anywhere else.
And just being a part of nature rather than a spectator watching it out the car window as you drive past .
Getting meat for the freezer is just a bonus....
